FYJC Admission 2025

Maharashtra Board New Rules Explained! FYJC Admission 2025 : Here I am going to tell you how much merit list is going to come. How much will your registration fee be? How will your merit list work? How will the minority quota, reservation quota and your management seat all this work. And how can you successfully complete your application process?

So all the children of Maharashtra who want to take admission in 11th 12th after 10th, from today, from 26th of May, your applications will open. Which was a different schedule earlier. Now a different schedule is going to be followed.

This new website will have all the applications on it. Hopefully you must have tried your dummy application. Because this year there are some minor changes like best of five. You have also got many provisions that in the second merit list you can submit your full course application, that is if you were applying in arts then you can shift to commerce. I will explain that further. But for now, this is your new website. If you want to take admission in HSC in entire Maharashtra, then this portal will be followed.

Earlier, it was only for the seven regions Mumbai, Pune, Greater Mumbai in this way. But now it is all across Maharashtra. This is one of the biggest changes and secondly, admission will be done on the merit of your 10th marks. And thirdly, the entire process will be online. There will be no offline process. You can go offline and submit the document but it is mandatory for you to follow the online process.

How many merit lists will be announced | FYJC Admission 2025

Just like every time, there used to be multiple. But this time they have decided that you will have four merit lists. And the one that will be there will be open for all. The children who missed out, made a mistake. And the most important thing in this is that you can fill 10 college preferences in the first merit. And making a preference list is the most important thing. The reason is that the first preference you enter, if the first college is allotted to you and if you do not take admission, you will be out of the merit round. And second thing, if you take admission and then cancel it. Even then you will be out of the merit round. So you have to make sure that you are sure to get admission in the first college you enter.

Rules and Regulations | FYJC Admission 2025

The first thing is that you have to pay the application fee which is ₹100, which is mandatory. I am really happy about this because once you pay the application fee then you know the whole process is sorted. If any child submits a fake marksheet or does any manipulation in his marksheet then you are disqualified and legal action can also be taken against you. And the third thing is that if the documents you have submitted are mismatched and do not match during the verification at the time of admission, then suppose you got into the first merit. But if the documents do not match then you will still be out of the merit round. Then you will have to apply in the all round which will be open.

Reservations and Quotas | FYJC Admission 2025

Now talking about reservations. As you know, minority colleges like Xavius, Midibai, NM are all minority colleges which give 50% reservation to their quota. Like Gujarati, Catholic, Sindhi, all these are quotas. And every college which comes under minority has to complete the quotas by the third round. 50% quota seats will be completed and in the fourth round, they will have to be surrendered in the open if seats are left out of that 50%. Management quota is 5%. So, any student who wants to take admission through management quota will have to finish the college by the second round. Whatever management seats they are letting out will be only till the second round. Now we come to in-house quota. 10% is of the private and the remaining 50% is for government and you know internal schools, like if you have studied in a particular school from 1st to 10th and it is the same management then this in-house quota is applicable. And valid caste certificate for every reservation. It is mandatory to have a valid caste certificate. And if the student does not have it, then the parent’s certificate will be accepted.

ITI and Polytechnic students | Maharashtra Board

Many children because of the economic background and you know the future idea that they have taken admission in ITI and Polytechnic. This time the government has taken a very good decision for those children that in any scenario you feel that you do not want to continue. You will get an option of withdrawal. You can withdraw and take admission in the regular junior college. College transfer and subject change. So for example you have taken admission in a particular college but now you want to cancel the admission, you have that option too but first you have to cancel it then only you can make a new application also now when you are doing this then you do not need to submit the document again once the online verification is done it is only fine, you have to go to the new college you are getting transferred to and submit your original there and as far as subject change is concerned this time the government has given one more flexibility to the students that presumably in the first round you applied for arts in the college and you did not confirm your seat. You are floating for the second merit. But you feel that no I made a mistake. Now I don’t want to do commerce. You can change it. You can change your course stream in the second merit and put it in the college preference list.

So these are the few changes that are new FYJC Admission 2025 in Maharashtra Board.
